There are many different ways across campus for you to celebrate and uplift the mentors in your life. This short list serves as an introduction to how you can formally recognize their investment in your growth through a University of Iowa affiliated award. 

Remember, even if there are no formal pathways through which to highlight your mentor, a heartfelt thank-you letter is always appreciated. You may also consider sending an email to the head of their department or program in order to call attention to a particular strength, skill, or moment where they made a personal impact on you.
